Kids ALIVE!

Wednesday night kids’ clubs are held each Wednesday night during the school year from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

Kids Alive! is for children K-6th grade. During our club year, we will learn about God from creation to sending His Son to earth to die for our sins. An important part of Kids Alive! is learning from God’s Word and memorizing scripture. Each week will focus on a verse that corresponds to the lesson being taught. There will also be additional passages of scripture to be memorized that focus on doctrines of the faith. Kids Alive! lays the foundation for learning and living God’s Word.

In addition to song time, there will be a time for games which allows kids to unleash their energy while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and other character traits through group participation.

KIDS ALIVE! WEEKLY MEMORY VERSES

Apr 2: 1 Corinthians 15:4 – That he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

Apr 9: Revelation 21:1 – Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

Apr 16: Romans 10:13,14 – For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Apr 23: I John 2:15-17
vs 15: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

vs 16: For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and the pride of life – is not from the Father but is from the world.

vs 17: And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

NOTE: The text that is bold & underlined is for K-1st graders to memorize; the full verse is for 2nd-6th graders to memorize. If there is nothing bolded & underlined, everyone should memorize the whole verse.
