When you visit our church, expect to find our focus on Jesus Christ. Everything we do is motivated by the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Expect to find a group of people who have experienced His love and forgiveness and would find it a delight to share that with you.
When our church gathers on Sunday morning we pray, sing, read the Bible, give offerings, and share testimonies about God’s work in our lives. Some of the songs we sing are brand new, some are the great hymns that Christians have sung for many years. Everything in our service points to God’s Word and His work in our lives. Our pastor’s sermon is the centerpiece of the service, full of practical applications for our lives today.
Bring your Bible — You’ll need it! Or, use one of the Bibles we have here at church. Every age group studies through the Bible. Pastor Augsburger preaches from the New King James Version, the same translation we encourage our children to memorize. Our teachers often use other good translations such as the New American Standard Version, English Standard Version, and King James Version. And if you need a good Bible to read at home, contact the church office.
Find a friend — You’ll connect with believers who are committing their lives to Jesus Christ. Our church looks a lot like our neighborhood: Young, old, single, married, and from many parts of the world.
If you have children — You’ll find safe and secure facilities, a caring staff, and a meaningful and enjoyable learning opportunity for children of all ages.
Dress comfortably — We don’t have an official church dress code. On Sunday you’ll see some ties and dresses, but you’ll also meet people who dress casually. For our weekly events with children and teens, everyone dresses for fun activities, usually jeans or shorts. Our adults are serious about being a good example for the kids, dressing modestly and appropriately, no matter the occasion.
